This blade was created in Rio Grande do Sul (Southern Brazil). Named after the Ragamuffin Revolution, where its pointy and aggressive shape served many purposes in between cooking, camping and hunting.

It should not be confused with traditional Braúna (Melanoxylon brauna), a highly protected, heavy hardwood.
